Thank you for using WatchMark. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the WatchMark mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

• Name or display name
• Email address
• Authentication information

User Data

You may choose to store information including:

• Watchlists
• Watched history
• Ratings
• Favorites
• Comments and other content you post in the app
• App preferences

Automatically Collected Information

• Device information
• Operating system version
• App version
• Crash reports
• Anonymous analytics

2. How We Use Information

Your information may be used to:

• Create and manage your account
• Synchronize your data across devices
• Provide personalized features
• Improve application performance
• Fix bugs and technical issues

• Manage subscriptions
• Prevent fraud and abuse

3. Third-Party Services

Firebase

Firebase is used for authentication, cloud storage, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, WatchMark receives basic profile information (name, email address, profile photo) from your Google account to create and authenticate your WatchMark account.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat manages subscription status and communicates with the Google Play Billing system. Payment information is processed exclusively by Google Play and is never stored by WatchMark.

TMDb

WatchMark uses The Movie Database (TMDb) API to provide movie and television information.

This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.

4. Subscriptions

Subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. Billing, payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with the Google Play Billing terms.

5. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account and all associated data (profile information, watchlists, watched history, ratings, favorites, and comments) at any time, directly within the app:

1. Open the WatchMark app and sign in
2. Go to Profile
3. Tap Settings
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. After deletion, your personal information and associated data will be permanently removed from our servers unless retention is required by law.

If you no longer have access to the app, you may request account deletion by emailing us at watchmarkk@googlegroups.com with the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

6. Data Security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Children's Privacy

WatchMark is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If personal information from a child is discovered, it will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Your Rights

You may have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Request a copy of your data

9. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The updated version will always be published on this page with a revised Effective Date.
